Pete Rock unofficially issued this album on his Soul Brother Records imprint. Rapster Records gave Center Of Attention a legitimate release in 2003.

Various mistakes on release:
- Back cover lists "Side B" twice instead of "Side C"
- B1: "Life I Live" is mistakenly listed as "Fakin Jax"
- Several tracks have noticeably increased pitch from the normal recording when played at 33rpm.
