I got pretty excited when I realised that some of the old Freddy Fresh stuff is available for sale here on wav. I had been contemplating playing stupid money for second hand copies of the Dwfs Album stuff like Dj UnFriendy and Analogue Shout Out, then I found them with this album which is all the same sort of analogue techno dateless black magic of a high caliber. My only wish sometime was that tracks lingered in certain sections more as the the arrangement style layers on a lot of elements and interplays quickly and densely. I'll be busting some tracks down to loops but isn't that the point of certain styles of digital mixing, plus the tracks are very forgiving of pitching them about any way you want, like all good acid. Acid Stukker and Electrolytes are my current favorites and Backtalk frightens me I'm not playing it anymore.
