Freddie Fresh to me was catalogued in the Techno genre, that is why I overlooked this record. Coincidently reading something about the "Aristotle" track somewhere, I was introduced in the Deep House skills he is able to perform. It's an astonishing track completely different than what he would normally bring out. Maybe the project for his electronic music school had something to do about it, anyway if it was used really as a project than you can clearly confirm it as being utterly successful. Not only the track "Aristotle" but "Return To Phantasia" is as good as the best House and Deep House music from the golden '95-'96 years.

Acid does not necessarily mean squelching bass lines and breath-taking pace. This is a prime example of creating hypnotic and dreamy acid excursions that could be even classified as chill out music. Three of tracks were picked once for Transcore compilation of Mid-West acid gems and they really set the mood for that release too. Of four tracks "Aristotle" is of slightly different breed and more directed to the floor but it rounds nicely up this excellent release by the grand master Fresh. A timeless release that works well also years later.
