This is an incredible release. I feel as if I've been living under a rock. I don't even have words for it, it's like elemental electronic programming meets the funkiest of rhythms and melodies. You can feel so much energy in every track, but make no mistake, this isn't just some conceptual assemblage, each and every one of these cuts rock. It's hard to choose, but I'd have to say my favourite tracks are Surkit (original version), Distance, and Serene. Surkit combines everything, acidic chords, techno drums, and a totally deep synth layer occasioned with the perfect highs. On the other hand, Distance and Serene are paradigms of Detroit techno. Look in the dictionary and this is what you'll find. Each and every track in this release fits perfectly. What a classic.

It's a beautiful record - not much needs to added to rydimryder's words above. I just wonder why 'Surkit' an absolutely blissful piece of techno ends so abruptly - surely Martin has another five minutes of this track hanging around somewhere and I need it! Put this release in your wants list and then act on it.
