Notes

Eire Apparent was an Irish Band touring USA with Jimi Hendrix in 1967, as a consequence, Jimi Hendrix produced their LP and played in it. The official known LP was originally issued in UK, 1969, by Buddah Records 203 021. There's a '45 single edited in 1967 by Track, and after that 2 singles in 1968 (on Track and on Buddah), the official known follow editions (single and LP) are from 1969. This edition of the "SunRise" only LP by the band is dated 1968, which makes it one year before the official UK one. According to Wikipedia and Vernon Joynson, the album "Sunrise" was mostly cut in late October 1968 in Los Angeles, with Jimi Hendrix producing. Hendrix also played on a number of tracks (including "Yes I Need Someone" and "The Clown"), whilst Noel Redding, Mitch Mitchell and Robert Wyatt are also credited (Redding and Wyatt singing on "1026" and/or "The Clown"). Cox was replaced by guitarist David "Tiger" Taylor in November 1968, shortly after the album was recorded, so the album was finished in Oct./Nov. of 1968, and was released on Buddah Records in the US and the UK in May 1969. If the information is correct, this 1968 edition of "Sunrise" on Buddah Records was unknown until now, and it's the real first edition of the album. It's not a promo copy or a test pressing, probably it's a pre-official release of a limited edition.
On front cover, at bottom left corner is written "A JIMI HENDRIX PRODUCTION", and at top right corner, under the band's name is the ref. code nmr: SZB 8237. On back cover, at top right corner, under the ref. code nmr. is written "Stereo also playable mono", and next on the right side of the band's photo, the information text is written over blue color (not orange like the US press or pink like the UK press, both from 1969).
LAMINATED FRONT COVER, FLIPBACK COVER. Buddah Records Label has the label code number (203.021) printed up-side down on top of the record factory code number (SZB.8237) and on the left side, above 1968, the word GEMA. All text around the label is written in English.
The last song of side 1 is like the original-official edition from US and UK, where it's missing the 6th bonus track of later issues, titled "Rock 'N' Roll Band" 3:24. - Graphic cover printed by Interpak
