"Orchids Sessions" is a 10th anniversary collection of studio outtakes from the 2003 release "Orchids", featuring the original lineup.

Dave Han:
Ten years goes by pretty fast. People come and go, hearts are broken and hearts fall in love, but time heals all wounds as they say.
This is a collection, a memoir from a moment in time, 2003, when Shawn, Amy, and I embarked on a voyage and put our hearts out there and released our debut album, Orchids.
It might mean something to you, or you may have never even heard of it. But it was our collective spirit, heart, and soul that made it happen.
So what if Virgin A&R called us? We wrote these songs for us, and for you.
There are too many people to thank over the years and we wouldn’t dare leave anyone out.
These songs are all that is left from the Orchids recording sessions, songs that were written, recorded, and performed by Shawn, Amy, and I in 2003 during the recording of what was released as Orchids, but were never released on the album for whatever reason.

All tracks were mixed down from the original analog tape reels by Randy Burke at Stout Recording, who mixed the original album ten years ago. This is gift to you who listened to us ten years ago, and loved the album but always wanted more.
