Jaberini
I've never been a huge fan of Iron & Wine. He strikes me as a singer more focused on conscious appearances of artistry than actually making good art. It's the same problem I have with Bon Iver, and to a lesser extent, Fleet Foxes. The lyrics are odd in that trademark Dylanesque way, the guitars are tuned in that range of twee between indie and folk, and the overall vibe is A U T H E N T I C. But other than a couple tracks - "Thomas County Law", "About a Bruise" - it's a bore. We should expect more from our indie folk stars.
