Notes

Recorded at Axis Studio, Sheffield, September 2008.

The songs that made the album were re-recorded for it.

I'm curious if the songs here that made the full CD later, were re-recorded for it. Seems like it.

Yup, I asked the band directly at some point after that post, and they confirmed this as well.

They certainly were given that the 'Standing Still E.P.' was recorded 3 years before the album was released. I've listened to both versions of 'Standing Still', 'A Song For All The Lonely People' and 'Who's Afraid of David Lynch?' (having finally managed to get a copy of the EP after many years) and the tracks on the EP are significantly grittier and, most importantly, more manic. Artery is all about mania (and I should know!). I broadly agree with the review at http://www.counterfeitmag.co.uk/album-and-single-reviews/artery-civilisation/ re the comparison between the EP and the album. Beyond that, I'd disagree with much of the cited review.
