Tons of copies of this can be found at Winners dept. stores for discount price. the 2LP version.
Auau
I didn't know they sold vinyl records. What was the price tag on it? Did they have the other albums too?
Doomblade
Bought this just today, to try & stem the tide of sorrow following Gord's passing. RIP Gord, you were a tried & true Canadian...
lacki
Sounds like absolute BUTTER!! Delighted to finally have this on wax. Stellar remaster on heavy vinyl.
Frostdefender
Can the original poster, the person who entered this data check the MATRIX/RUNOUTS and compare with the "other" PP vinyl release? If they are the same, this entry should be deleted/merged ASAP.
AGAD
Are there really two versions of this? My copy, picked up today from my local indie store has the catalog # and barcode of this one.Nice, flat, clean pressing from gz vinyl. Side 1 sounds great. Side 2 was a little harsh I thought. Haven't made it to the second slab yet.

Please check your MATRIX/RUNOUTS. I've added the MATRIX/RUNOUT infromation to the other release entry. If your runout data is as per the other release, this entry should be deleted/merged.
Dori
I don't know if there really are 2 versions. This one is legit but the other listing The Tragically Hip - Phantom Power was created before the album was released.
Clandratha
Are there really two versions of this? I suspect this entry was created from the amazon.ca listing without the product in hand. I have [10629967], picked it up today from my local indie store. Vinyl is nice, clean and flat. Pressed at gz vinyl from the runouts. All the credits printed inside the sleeve are the credits from the original release. No mention of the Bob Ludwig or any other remastering.
Whitestone
Of course it sounds different than the CD..the CD has shunted frequency response at 16bits / 44KHZ.
misery
I added the runout information - can you all check and verify that you all the same numbers?
Galanjov
Yes, I ordered from The Tragically Hip webstore -> Maple Music
Perdana
Yes, it does - it sounds much better. I've added the matrix/runout information.
Narim
Yes, I also have the same question. Can you add the MATRIX/RUNOUT information? I will check my copy once you've added yours. I can't see TWO versions of this being released simultaneously.
Raniconne
Does your copy have the Musicvaultz logo on the lower left of the back cover to the right of the barcode? The version I ordered from Musicvaultz.ca does.
Coiron
I think Bob remastered these, as the original credits on the gatefold are the same as the original cds. The vinyl masters were cut and plated at GZ vinyl, but the records were pressed in Ontario at Precision Record pressing, a new company who built new presses as a joint venture with GZ vinyl.
Yla
That's weird. The musicvaultz.com listing says re-mastered by Ludwig. Does it sound any different from the CD
Usic
No mention of Bob Ludwig on this. The credits on the sleeve say this was mastered by Stephen Marcussen at Precision Mastering. Sounding alright so far, but Ludwig's work on the previous reissues was perfect.
