Torch of the Mystics and Kaliflower get most of the love, but this is one of my favorite SCG releases. I really love their jazzier, free-improv performances, and this delivered in spades. The performances here remind me a bit of Bright Surroundings Dark Beginnings (another favorite), but with better sound quality and, overall, a more cohesive tone. Really great & tragically under appreciated psychedelic music.
