Tracks 1-1 to 1-6 and 1-8 to 1-12 were recorded in ten days, followed by completion of the mix and the master tape on January 15th, 1977
Tracks 1-7 and 2-4 were recorded at Pathway Studios in a two-day session that was mixed and committed to master tape on 20th September 1976
Tracks 2-1 to 2-3 recorded in a basement studio run by future Boys' member Matt Dangerfield in the basement of 47a Warrington Crescent
Tracks 2-5 to 2-9 recorded for the BBC 30/11/76 at Maida Vale 4; broadcast 10/12/76.
Tracks 2-11 to 2-14 recorded for the BBC 5/5/77 at Maida Vale 4; broadcast 16/5/77.
Tracks 2-15 to 2-24 recorded for the BBC at the Victoria Palace, 19/5/77; broadcast 21/5/77.
Tracks 2-25 and 2-26 recorded at North London's Roundhouse Studios. The session was completed on May 19th, 1977
Tracks 3-1 to 3-12 recorded at their live debut at Oxford Street's 100 Club on July 6th in a Sex Pistols support slot. Recorded on a primitive Sony cassette recorder, hidden in a sports bag, onto a cheap Scotch 120 tape
