This is an review of the Lp version: Magic Castles are one of neo-psych's most under-appreciated bands of the moment. For those who like the BJM, Asteroid #4 or the See See this is an absolute must have. From the beginning this group has been producing some of the best "star-gazing" melodic tunes in our dimension. This record can make you happy as easily as it can make you sad and the emotion that it invokes can best be described as some kind of a "natural cosiness". Limited to a 1000 records the album comes as a gatefold displaying all the traditional colours and maybe even some new ones. The vinyl is pure white with identical middle labels making it impossible to know if your about to listen to the more relaxing A or the more powerful B side. But don't worry both sides are absolutely worth it.
