I guess it depends on your perspective. I read that this was supposed to be a South American psych classic. To me though it felt quite beat, sounding more mid 1960's, but with notable Led Zeppelin feel, bits of Rolling Stones and Bob Dylan even. There are actually lots of well-known songs here, some of them changed beyond recognition, some quite faithful in a Latino sort of way. All influences that prove it's later than it sounds. Anyway, it has its moments, and at its most "prog" it does remind me a little of Pan & Regaliz. Jailhouse Rock however sticks out like a sore thumb!
