It doesn't seem fair to call these "novelty" songs, but just like "Tubing In Somerset", it sort of fits and calling them "Amusement Arcade-themed songs" sounds pretty corny (even though that's what they are.) Pretty good breezy pop rock numbers about playing games in the 1970s. Gimme an ice-cold bottle of Mountain Dew, and I am right back there in the groove . . . Both tracks were co-written by Bill Normandin (who wrote two tracks for: "The Fabulous Jades" in 1964) Can you dig it?
