Not happy with the packaging of this album. While the diecut is cool, I hate the cardboard sleeve and imagine the tab will get worn out or torn up over the years as I listen to the record over and over again. Disappointing for those of us who actually listen to the records we buy.

Couldn't agree more. I was pretty excited about this release, and it wasn't cheap. The die-cut is nice, but the box itself is stupidly thick. Once opened, it is quite large, and takes up most of a small table top. There is nothing much to look at inside--just the records in poly bags, and a solid pink insert with song titles. Ages ago, I saw a friend's Japanese deluxe pressing (?) of some kind, which had a lot of cool design elements. I guess I thought this would be a reproduction of that. Sadly, not. Of course the music is great, pressing sounds reasonably good, yaddah yaddah. Just wish it wasn't such an ordeal!

Surely the tab is likely to be worn over time. I plan on never opening it again, so i put all the records in an poly outer sleeve and store them outside the cardboard box. That leaves the tab intact. The records don't HAVE to be inside the box.

Totally agree—diecut is cool; the cardboard stock feels cheap and the tab is just astonishing. Pretty janky production for the price.

Agreed. I've opened this maybe 3 times since purchasing it and the tab already looks worn. I love everything else about it though--can't wait to see them live and get it signed this weekend.
