Great sampler with a ton of UK mid '60s goodies on it. The Poets' track is a stellar piece of understated funky freakbeat guaranteed to set dancefloors alight, Wimple Winch deliver their awesome and epic Rumble and you get a whole slew of good stuff from The Eyes, The Pretty Things, Mandrake Paddle Steamer and Kaleidoscope. Some of the tracks stray into the whimsically pre-prog but really it's a safe bet this one. Recommmended if you don't know much about mid-60s UK psychedelia but would like to hear it in good quality, legally fully licensed (it's not a bootleg), on vinyl... and without breaking the bank.>edit< SRC, Hearts & Flowers and Left Banke were US but the main flavours on this are UK.

One of the best samplers ever cut? I think so.
