P. J. Proby had a minor hit with 'Niki Hoeky' in 1967, but he enjoyed greater success in England. A handsome guy, the pop singer excited his audiences by ripping his tight pants back in the day. I picked this album up because it was only ten bucks and it was in near mint condition. P. J.'s voice does absolutely nothing for me. Seems to me he got by on his looks, and I've never heard anything I've enjoyed much from Proby.
