Angel Rust reveals a highly-aggressive, synth-tinged edgy side to NZ-born Scarecrow (Matt Bentley). Most songs are industrial instrumentals, but the first three have lyrics to a great or lesser extent. The songs range from KMFDM-esque industrial electronica (America) to NIN-alike ambient dark synthesis (Destruction of a newborn star).
