Goldcrusher
One of my favourite albums - But I happily admit to having quite odd taste . Melanie Pappenheim is an extraordinary vocalist who has gone on to work on TV and film soundtracks including Dr Who and Eyes Wide Shut .
Mautaxe
A very odd mix of folk, avant garde jazz and smooth easy listening pop with synths and brass instruments which occasionally sounds like The Velvet Underground, the Bonzo Dog band and Frank Zappa. Suffice to say this is an acquired taste, it sounds more palatable with each listen but i have only managed to get through it about 3 times.
