I have 2 copies of this, John Nolan's notes inside says "this is the BEST Powder Monkeys recording I have ever heard" but both of my copies sound terrible! Either the original recording was bad (which is really unlikely, though possible - Triple J wouldn't have broadcast it if it wasn't up to scratch) OR the pressing got screwed up somehow. they both sound like the needle needs cleaning, that fuzzy muffled sound when it's picked up a HUGE amount of fluff. I'd love to know what BANG think about it.
