How are not more people rating this 5 Stars??! Especially considering the current state of rock, especially hard rock, this is a masterpiece!!! I'd heard BRMC's "Specter At The Feast" & liked it enough, especially "Let The Day Begin", but hardly enough to purchase it. Pandora sent me "Lien On Your Dream" from "Baby 81", I believe, though a station that I've set up with the Jesus & Mary Chain as one of the bands on it (although, I, unlike a lot of people really don't hear them when I listen to BRMC...I love J&M Chain, too, or I wouldn't have "seeded" a pandora station with them. I hear more Sonic Youth and particularly on "Cold Wind", Alice in Chains; but, make no mistake BRMC are no grunge band!) I loved that song so much, I immediately listened to all samples on "Baby 81" & I think every song on it is spectacular!!! Particular favorites include, of course, "Lien On Your Dream", "Berlin" "Cold Wind", "Took Out A Loan" & "Weapon of Choice". I give BRMC particular credit for making the kind of music they Want to make & it is Definitely rock & hard rock, at that. I'm very impressed that they're succeeding in the current musical climate, especially without getting thrown into the "metal" category. Bravo!!! I can't get enough of BRMC now & am currently awaiting their 1st, the reissue with 4 additional songs. It was a very difficult choice where to go from "Baby 81" because I do feel that's their Best....LOVE IT!!
