An incredible resource collecting 118 tracks across 4 cds by one of the founding fathers of rock n' roll.Blues, RnB and rock n roll from the dawn of the 50s through 1957. Comes with two fat booklets with a full discography and biography. I can't remember how much I paid but it was quite cheap - less than £10 I think. Bargain of the year.I don't expect musical geniuses to be angels so I don't concern myself with his extracurricular activities - it's all about what went on in the studio for me. A fantastic collection from a musical prodigy. Five stars.

Painwind

I'm getting on in years and my ears aren't what they used to be .... plus I'm not all that fussy about fidelity anymore. It all sounds fine to me - but a connoisseur may disagree. Some of the tracks may sound on the thin side. I've no idea where and how they sourced the material. It's so cheap it's worth a go.
