Sleeve Notes: "The First album of Bob Marley and the Wailers' work to appear in the UK, thanks to Lee Perry's business links and his eye for the main chance, the release of this album was to sour Bob Marley and the Wailers' relationship with Perry, as for
30 years no one but Lee Perry gained financially from its release. Famed for its cheap and airbrushed cover the album captures Bob Marley and the Wailers with a far sparser sound than on much of their previous material. The influence of black America stands tall with the James Brown cover of 'I've Got to Cry, Cry, Cry' as 'My Cup' and the album's title, of course. A real shot from the early years of reggae that caught the eyes and minds of a small cosmopolitan London crowd on it's release."
