Back then I had a few singles in my collection that were produced by Jah Bunny, like "Gimme African Love" and we really loved his sound work . Jah Bunny is a Jamaican-English producer, former drummer of Matumbi and Cimarons, won a music award in 1981 in the reggae category. The meeting with Jah Bunny in London (without previous introduction), was a risk we took, but as it turned out, we soon realized it was worth it.Jah Bunny, fascinating Rastaman, a musical persona from the first degree, was moved by Sister Orly's style, who at that time (1984) was the first white, non Jamaican, DJ (in Jamaican terms -- singer, MC), and to top it off - a woman. There weren't any white DJ's that could sing/speak/host a night of Reggae in fluent Patois with pure Jamaican vibes. Jah Bunny really liked Yossie Fine's work on the tracks and even other people who've heard it, were amazed that Yossie was only 17!It was decided, that the only thing missing is Nyahbinghi drums and a proper studio mix.We went to the Easy Street Studios, recorded, mixed (also 2 dub versions), from there we continued to the mastering, then the design for the singles and finally the printing. We printed a thousand 12" singles and called our label -- Lost Tribes
