This album came out in 1978. I actually have a copy of this album that was purchased in 1978 and in addition it actually states both on the album jacket and the vinyl label that it was pressed and released in 1978.

Socapro, I hear you and get your point. You are right. The record was recorded and dated as 1978. But it was set for T&T Carnival 1979. I don't go by what it indicates on the record. Because it's misleading and it's confusing as Hell. I set my copy dated as 1979. Other contributors can be naive and set their copy as 1978. That is just ridiculous.
