Notes

Chief Lelooska is descended from a long line of chiefs of the Cherokee Nation. He is an extraordinarily gifted wood carver, an authority on American Indian history and culture, a singer of Indian songs and, as he proves in this album, a masterful narrator of legends as they were told in the days before the coming of the white man.

Recorded at Northwestern Incorporated, Portland, OR.
