"Watermelon Man" and "Don't Bother Me No More" were originally issued together as a 45-rpm on the Battle label.
The rest of Sides 1 and 2 were originally issued, with those two selections included, as the album "Watermelon Man" (Battle 6120).
Sides 3 and 4 were originally issued as "Mongo at the Village Gate" (Battle 6129), except "Para Ti", which was first issued as part of "Mongo Explodes" (Riverside 3530)
