A beautiful throwback to soul ballads made by, basically, a supergroup of friend, whose success influenced similar albums like the second Jazzanova one or the third Clara Hill one. Many standouts, but the song that touches me the most is the one sang by Kirk DeGiorgio himself, "Shades of Yesterday". Apart from being an enormous techno and electro jazz producer, flawless dj and having a great sense of humour, he also sings with a lot of heart. I am still amazed how this man can one week play a set of dark techno stompers and the next one sing power ballads.
