A collection of all but one of the tracks Frank Sinatra and Antonio Carlos Jobim performed together.
-Tracks A1 to B4 appeared on Francis Albert Sinatra & Antonio Carlos Jobim, originally released in 1967. Track B5 is an outtake from those sessions.
-Tracks C1 to D4 were nine of 10 songs intended for a second Sinatra/Jobim album in 1969, simply called "Sinatra Jobim". The album made it to some vinyl test pressings and actually had an offical 8-track release of 3500 copies. Of those 3500 copies, only 5 are known to exist currently because Warner withdrew and ordered the destruction of all but 3 copies. A recall for all "sold" copies was also attempted, but it is unknown how successful this recall was. Seven of those tracks (C1 to C3, C5, D1, D3, and D4) later appeared in 1971 on Sinatra & Company.
-Track D5 appeared on the album My Way.

All of the tracks on this album plus the one track exclusive to the 8-track release, "Off Key (Desafinado)", later were reissued (spread out over three discs) on "The Complete Reprise Studio Recordings".

Advanced or promotional copies have been distributed, identified by stamps on the cover and/or center labels. In some of these copies were also included a press-release with text by compilation producer Roberto Quartin and credits for musicians.
