Notes

Allena means alone in Swedish, and the Ensemble Allena is thus the lonely ensemble. Lonely, as in desolated, possibly abandoned, at least sparsely populated... There's only one person left and he does as he pleases.

This album contains four short pieces for saxophones, althorn and plastic tubes with sax mouthpieces, computer / real time processing and field recordings. Basically, three compositions with a rather large collection of voices recorded on top of each other, one at the time, with strict instructions. And one improvised duo using the same method, just for the heck of it.

Yes, it´s a short album, but we hope you'll enjoy as long as it lasts.
