Caro Bé’s album Closing the Book stems from her worn out notebooks and compositions, filled with questions, heartbreaks and foolish infatuations. The song Rainy Day sets the tone for the album with a portrayal of a dismal day where her melancholic heart finds solace in music. The song Wasted awakens the rebel side of the soul, with a vintage feel, where it is allowed to frolic in alcohol and Gypsy Jazz. This album accompanies us from beginning to end along the path of a vibrant woman and her romances.
