Nicely done reissue of this classic Moondog album. I was surprised that the album was on white vinyl but it plays quiet and sounds quite dynamic. Gatefold has an enjoyable read and the fold down, while of thin stock, does reveal the full Moondog image. Recommended.

just wondering from anyone else who has gotten this: Is the front cover and the back cover supposed to be upside down relative to each other? Also, is the gatefold supposed to open upward? Might be interesting if its a misprint

It's not a misprint. Gatefold cover opens vertically, not horizontally.

It's not a misprint. It's designed so that when you open the gatefold, it shows the full portrait of Moondog. That's how it was on the original pressing, judging by the pictures on the other release pages.

The lp plays remarkably well IMHO. Clear and deep soundstage. No noise and cracks in my lp. FYI, retail price 26 euros, beware of the prices of some sellers in discogs.Pay a tribute to the Viking of New York.
