This US CD reissue is a mess, thanks to the work of producer Richard Bock. Not satisfied with the original album, he reworked it, first he edited out many of Carl Perkins and Red Mitchell, overdubbed Larry Bunker's drums on another reissue, then discarded the portions removed. The "alternate take" of "Things Ain't What They Used To Be" is actually the original master, the shorter track is the work of Bock's unnecessary editing, it's the same performance but truncated.
