Brain feeder just seem totally incapable of getting vinyl correct. I happen to think it's to do with their mastering. this one starts promising - the first track (1 min) sounds nice, clear open etc. then the second track comes in and its like someone suddenly covers your loudspeaker with a duvet - sounds compressed, dull and lifeless. it doesn't make sense to me...the roster they have I would guess appeals more to vinyl heads than people who D/L, so surely they should be catering to that market. The Kamasi LP was such a let down, sounds so compressed and lifeless.

I have the same issue. It gets better during the dynamic passages but especially the beginning of side A. I returned a copy and got a new and the same issue again.

I had to return 3 Bowie Blackstar copies (also pressed at MPO) due to electrical noise in the right channel. Seems like they need to sort out their QC.
