Just got this version, there is a TYPO! Marking on the song "HE GOT SO MUCH SOUL" is incorrectly labelled "he got so much COOL".

In the 1990s I would never have thought that I will gain interest in cd pressings, but the invention of serato brought a whole new aspect to it. And it seems like this has been remastered. The sound comes with a lot more punch than earlier perssing. Another thing about this version is that it not just reveals a lot of 12" material to the digital world for the first time, but almost every song is somehow different compared to the original cd release. I'm going to explain by breaking it down song by song:1. Snake Eyes: The original plays 3:30 minutes. It's just the song here, the intro has been left off completely. The one with piano that sounds if it had been sampled from Ike Turner's "Getting Nasty" I believe. The song starts with the a capella voices shouting "snaked eyes".2. Just Hangin Out: No differences3. Looking At The Front Door: No differences4. Large Professor: This is an extended or probably uncut version. It's even longer than the version on the "Watch Roger Do His Thing" 12"!5. Just A Friendly Game Of Baseball: No differences6. Scratch & Kut: The interlude that follows the song is missing completely. It is the weakest song on the record, so I don't care anyway, but missing or badly positioned trackmarks are annoying. In the 90s a lot of labels did a very bad job with that. Check out "The Chronic", "Doggystyle", "Only Built 4 Cuban Links..." and so on...7. Peace Is Not The Word To Play: It's the album version with just one long verse (not the remix adding 2 short new verses), but the intro break has been left off again.8. Vamos A Rapiar: The intro speech "If something is yours by right then fight for it, or shut up..." has been cutted off.9. He Got So Much Soul: No differences10. Live At The Barbeque: This is the "refried" version from the 12". Differences to the "original cookout" from the album are the missing short intro with this squeaking tires sound and the clean lyrics! Well, it's basically a clean version of the song. Probably one of the first clean versions ever put out on a record from NYC MCs!?11. Watch Roger Do His Thing: No differences12. Just A Friendly Game Of Baseball (Remix): It's the soundtrack version from the movie "Boys N The Hood". It is as well a bonus track on the original cd. Funny: Check out how transposed digits stretch the track lenght on early pressings from 4:02 track to 4:20 minutes.Now we're reching the bonus tracks:13. Fakin The Funk: It's not the mix from the soundtrack, it's the remix from the 12''. It has the uncredits first appearance of "Neek The Exotic" on vinyl.14. Bonafied Funk (With The Brand New Heavies): This is not the album version, it's the harder "Main Source Mix" with drums programmed by Large Pro in an unedited, uncut, never heard before version!!! With 4:45 minutes it's 20 seconds longer than the 12" mix and even 50 seconds longer than the cd verson.15: Atom: Regular 12" version.16: Think: Regular 12" version,17: Looking At The Front Door (Uncut): With 3:31 minutes (compared to the 4:10 original) it's nowhere near to uncut. The song has been rearranged. It starts with the regular first verse already followed by the scratch part (orginally between verse 2 and verse 3). The second and last verse has been melted together by parts of the original verses 2 and 3. It has left off some lines at the beginning and the middle, but has added a few new ones at the end instead. It's probably just an earlier, rejected version.18: Time: Better known as "Hellavision" from the second album. The thing about this version is the Large Professor lyrics, which have later been replaced by MC Mikey D.

As below, worth it for the bonus tracks not on any other release but a pity about the edits / censoring of swear words which spoils the flow, hopefully Get On Down or Traffic Entertainment will give it the deluxe reissue treatment with the bonus tracks in due course which it deserves

There are a couple of differences between the 12 original album tracks on this release and the original 1991 Wild Pitch release... tracks 1, 4, 6, and 7 are missing intro's/outtro's (or both), and "Live At The Barbeque" is substantially different from the original album version, as well as being edited.
