Hailing from Nottingham, UK Based 1st Blood released their new single on the 19th Sept 2011 the first release on the newly formed 1st Blood Empire Ltd. Previously signed to Chris Blackwell’s Blue Mountain Music and his company with Recording artist Tricky called Brownpunk. Now independent 1st blood are preparing to drop the first single of their upcoming album.

Following the release of the Double A side of ‘Damnfiner’ and ‘Diggit’. Damnfiner was recorded with Nottingham born rising star Liam ‘Bahinyon’ Bailey now best known for his signing with the late Amy Winehouse, being produced by Salaam Remi and working with Chase and Status with whom he scored a top 5 single in the UK top 40. Diggit produced by up and coming producer Kumarachi, who recently recieved exstensive playlisting on BBC radio one with his productions, gaining immense ongoing support from DJ Bobby Friction.

The 19 track album showcases the true potential that 1st Blood hold. Released on 1st Blood Empire on limited editon CD and as a digital download available direct from www.1stblood.co.uk, itunes or all good digital retailers, the new single captures perfectly the sound and attitude of their energetic original take on hip hop. Featuring performances from Nottinghams best new talent in the form of Jah Digga, Cappo, Opticus Ryme, Louis Cypher, Kumarachi, Bahinyon, Chris Mcdonald, Joe Graziano, Kount Masloff and Zemac, this album is one album not to be missed.

1st Blood are also known for an explosive unpredictable live performance having a 12 deep crew all on 1 stage has given them cult status and confirmed them as one of the most exciting and notorious bands around.
