I think "Rip The Cut" has to win the title of the rawest Hip Hop track ever released. The beat is so un-polished it makes even the rawest producers sound like thier making pop records and the rhymes are delivered with with a b-boy ferocity that says 'don't mess with us". The cuts by Super(man)Jay are the audio equivalent of having your limbs chopped off with a rusty saw. If someone had never heard Hip Hop before and wanted to know what it sounded like I would play them this record. the whole "Weightless" LP this is taken from is a treat from start to finish.
