Over a year before the mentioned AA compilation was released.AALP 065/ http://www.discogs.com/Various-Legends-Of-Benin/release/1901494 was released without the consent or knowledge of El Rego which technically makes it a bootleg.If you listen to the 45 and to the compilation next to each other it becomes very clear which has the better mastering.

2 beautiful tracks by El Rego et ses Commandos. The credits are incorrect on this 7". The original was released under "El Rego et ses Commandos". Both tracks are taken from the Analog Africa release Legends Of Benin (AALP 065/ http://www.discogs.com/Various-Legends-Of-Benin/release/1901494 ). Thus i don't really see the additional benefit of this reissue of a reissue, especially as the Analog Africa Mastering sounds superior. Also AA-label head Samy Ben Redjeb should be mentioned as A&R on the label instead of Frank Gossner.
