There is very little information available about this obscure record or the artists who recorded it. Even the place and date of release is uncertain, but recently the recording studio was confirmed and it is now known to be a Singapore recording. Release dates of other releases on this label suggest a 1967 date, but this is unconfirmed.

Some pressings credit only the vocalist Robert Pierse and do not mention The High Tops. The name of this group is NOT The Moutries as claimed in some online listings. The cover does mention Moutries, but this is a reference to the agent for the musical instruments used by the group. Moutrie's was a a long established dealer in musical instruments which had branches in both Hong Kong and Singapore at this time.
