Notes

This group was formed AFTER the New Christy Minstrels had established the appeal of the large folk chorus. The group was downsized to a quartet later in 1963 with Chip and David Crosby, Mike Clough and Bob Ingram, none of whom were in the original ensemble. Among the original members, Joyce James went on to co-found the Womenfolk, Paul Potash joined the New Christy Minstrels (replacing Gene Clark in March of 1964) and Jerry Yester became a member of the influential Modern Folk Quartet.
