As only 4 discogs users have listed this album, it is somewhat of a rarity. For the curious, you aren't missing much. An unnamed piano player beavers through 10 songs, accompanied by what sounds like an upright bass providing the 1s and 5s, and a drummer laying down the back beat. The piano player is competent, but the album is marred by the out-of-tune piano. I'm not talking about a carefully and artistically detuned piano like Paul McCartney playing Lady Madonna on Mrs. Mills piano at Abbey Road, I'm talking about a piano that is untuned through neglect. Some of the keys are in tune and some aren't. There's a certain grimness to the whole affair -- like sitting in a bar where the music is intended to make you want to drink more. Two stars for basic musical competence, but that's it.
