It depends what mood you're in. Sometimes I like the slower Italian Classics ( favorite genre ) but then I missed the hacienda thing by a few years, so when we were out at Maximes these sort of high energy piano tracks were doing the rounds, and were great to dance to. I think both this and she "S.L.D. - Gettin' Out" original it samples are both epic tunes. They're slightly different genres so its like comparing italo house with uk hardcore. It depends what genres you like I guess. Can any one confirm if the original 97 remix (the one on this page ) was really just limited to 500? I know Mike Stewart re-issued it (at £25 - but obviously that's a modern repress, and not the original), but this white label from 97, how many were pressed? I'd be interested to know, as this might explain the supply and demand issue with it.Big respect to Mike Stewart and Sean Richmond though (and Rick Jones for the remix),.. I mean the back in time tapes were epic, and made me start dj-ing, so when they made this, well I have no doubt the producers loved the S.L.D. - Gettin' Out original, and it was just about making more modern piano tunes.

the original sarasota gettin hot on the bit productions label was released in 1997 on w/l promo and main release shortly after that year. its quite possible that there were only 500 copies of the original 1997 w/l. the 1997 pressings do not have the quality vinyl sound that the 2006 re-release does having dj`s prefer the re-release. the bit productions 2006 re-release of sarasota gettin hot was a limited run of only 52 records each record having its own certificate included with the record and a certification sticker on the center of the record both sticker and certificate corresponding with each other. i had number 27 of 52 and paid £43+p+p.

This is a poor imitation of S.L.D's "Gettin' Hot"

Or maybe this is what they both copied off https://www.discogs.com/SLD-Gettin-Out/master/159691

This is the original track that was sampled to make SLD's Gettin' Out.... SLDs mix is better though
