Wow.This is something quite different than from his Komputer Cast or Galactic Melt days. I do like it, I must say. It is a fairly new direction from him. Less "slow funk 80's serial killer" and more of an upbeat ...thing..... Hey. It is definitely still Com Truise.......that's all you need to know.OH. I should also add that this record better lends itself, imho, to slowing down into ambient territory than Galactic Melt does. Also, it seems to be EQ'd rather neutrally, almost bland.*** "Galactic Melt" is an awesome album. "Wave 1" is the next step that "In Decay" did not really bring. ***

Well to be fair "In Decay" wasn't a release of new material. It was a collection of unreleased singles and odds and ends compiled into one neat little package. Wave 1 is the true follow up to Galactic Melt
