Necton have a nice line in stomping heavy kicks, phat ass bass and deep dark minor key growls. They don't have too many other arrows in their quivver though. Any of these tracks works well as a dance hypnotiser on its own, but over the course of a uniform album this style is rather too samey and boring. More variety and melody would have transformed an otherwise good album into something formidable. ~*~
