I would give this EP 5/5, but I feel "Uprising" is the weakest track hence 4/5. The other three tracks are quality. Always been a personal favorite of mine. Also glad to find out recently that you can now get this EP as a download, awesome!!!

I have really just discovered Chris Cowie hence why I have signed on here. I had known of him before but thought he was mainly a trance producer and label owner. I did not know he was responsible for this EP and names like Vegas Soul and Scan Carriers. The more I read about this excellent and totally underrated producer who must be the most underrated in electronic/dance music the more I see what a find he is. The track on this EP 'House Of God' is simply Tech House at its absolute finest but really the whole Ep is five star brilliant. I know I sound a bit like a fanboy but its very rare to find someone that's practically unknown but brilliant. Everyday I find a new song or alias of his and am just blown away or I come across someone he worked with and his name is in tiny writing almost hidden but you can hear him all over it.

A superb double header of some seriously firing tech funk, loaded with the awesome, tight production values that has become Chris Cowie's perhaps greatest trademark. Play one of these at the right time and watch the whole dancefloor shake.
