I feel kind of silly making a distinction between Masonna albums, because at a glance, this is more of the usual wild screaming and squealing noise. There is a key difference, however, and it's that there's a sense of rhythm and structure here that's sometimes missing from other Masonna releases. As a result, there's a bit of atmosphere and musicality to it all that makes this comparatively accessible and enjoyable. I'm not a voracious Japanoise fan, typically leaning more towards the European stuff, but this one has stayed in my collection since '97 and isn't likely to leave it.
