"Sad My Love" is genius. Barbara's tone of voice and hesitant delivery of those insipidly clunky lyrics is almost like hearing an alien earnestly expressing its lovelorn regrets. It feels blurrily off-balance and hence somewhat otherworldly, like a dream song that should evaporate into hazy, discordant memory if one actually attempts to play it to a wakeful world.
