Ghost Hemiola is a double vinyl set of empty locked grooves, i.e. the records contain no sound whatsoever other than the vinyl's own surface noise. It provides a phyical loop toolkit which may be used in its pure form or for producing content manually (for instance by cutting clicks and noises directly into the grove with a knife, needle or other tool). It allows for mixing combination noise loops, building layers of 3:4 rhythms ("Hemiolas"), when played as follows: Record 1 at 133.3 (at 33 1/3 rpm) and Record 2 at 135 BPM (at 45 rpm). To synchronize both records, select a loop on each record and lower Record 2's pitch to approx. -1,5.
