To the best of my knowledge, this is the only CD release containing the actual Stalker soundtrack as heard in the film (and not a rather mediocre re-recorded re-visitation of it as often presented in other editions like this one https://www.discogs.com/Edward-Artemyev-SolarisMirror-Stalker/master/84406). This CD contains some of the most haunting, original and archetypical music ever composed. Rare and expensive it is, but well worths your money, believe me.

Vey rare release. The art of Artemiev is superb, ahead of his time as well as the perfect complemet to Tarkovsky's delirant view. Vey tense and heavy proto-industrial manipulation: drone-like noise waves and field recordings manipulated the same way Tarkovsky used to manupulate his photograms. A composer to rescue.
