What a way to start off the summer, this dance track debuted on the black singles charts on 6/5/82 coming in at #89 for 5 weeks. Not bad for an underground house song that was made exclusively for night clubs. R. Bernard Fowler belts away like a soulful madman in this song, especially when he says "I WANT YOU". Give credit to DJ Larry Levan for bringing these guys together and giving them a gig. Otherwise, these songs might never have even been released to the public.

You gotta thank DeBenedictus and Mel Cheren for having the patience with Levan and Bernard Fowler for his lyrics and voice.Rumor has it, that it could have been a bigger smash if Levan wouldn‘t have tested version after version at the Garage until nobody could hear it anymore. Nevertheless it is under my Top 3 of all time songs....
